After nearly 30 years of cooperation, two key partners of one of the leading, exclusively
Hungarian owned law firms of Budapest founded Borbiro & Pinter Law Firm in January 2024.
Founding partners of the law firm, dr. István Borbiró and dr. Katalin Pintér have extensive
experience in handling complex legal issues professionally; our clientele consists of
Hungarian and foreign legal entities and individuals.
Client focus and professionalism have become our trademark; we provide tailored, individual
solutions for the complicated, legally complex issues of our clients in the field of civil law, in
particular in the fields of commercial law, corporate law, real estate/land law, family law, and administrative law.
Our fields of expertise cover, furthermore, the establishment of the legal framework of primarily M&A, real estate development and energy projects, drafting complex contract schemes, loan and financing agreements, and providing legal representation in the related administrative procedures.
We work in close cooperation with several of our colleagues in our downtown office, which enables us to assist our clients in the resolution of legal problems outside our area of expertise, covering the entire spectrum of Hungarian law.
In addition to handling complex issues of legal entities, our practice has an increasing number of private clients, whom we assist, in particular, in the resolution of disputes among the owners of business associations, and in the development of legal forms of generational succession in successful businesses. In addition, for our private individual clients we do extensive contract drafting work in the classic fields of civil law, as well as we provide assistance with family law matters, and drafting wills.
We are effective in resolving our clients’ disputes, where we give priority to the peaceful means of dispute resolution.
We have extensive experience in litigation, based on nearly 30 years of litigation experience at all levels of the court system. As keeping abreast of international trends in the application of the law is a priority for both our partners, they both made efforts in gaining experience as observers in international law
firms overseas, where they had the opportunity to gain insight into the operation of different legal systems.
Our law firm is supported by dr. Katalin Perjési, associate attorney-at-law, who contributes to the success of our law firm with her in-depth professional knowledge and excellent command of English. A legal assistant and a secretary provide essential support for our work.
